October 2012 VT Message

It's not too late to begin your visiting teaching for October.  Remember that we "count the caring", not just a visit.  Do something for your sisters that show them you care.

Visiting Teaching Reminder

Have you completed your visiting teaching for this month?  It's not too late, you still have four more days.  If you can't actually make a visit, please at least make a phone call and spend 15 minutes catching up with your sister and enjoy it.

Don't forget to report to your VT supervisor, Janet Dorough or Myrna Humphrey.

What is VT 5, 10, 15, 20 rule?

Doing your visiting teaching using the 5, 10, 15, 20 rule works like this.

1. Make contact by the 5th
2. Make appointments by the 10th
3. Visit by the 15th
4. Report by the 20th

It doesn't get easier than that.  Give it a try.  Today is the 5th, it's not to late to get started.  In fact, it is never too late.  Like President Spencer W. Kimball once said, "Do it."
